The market study was performed for a world-known manufacturing company* in cooperation with premier research and consulting firm Ducker Worldwide.

Project Objective

To get a full understanding of the specific market sector* in Russia (usage of the products, routes to market, market leaders etc.).


Market study constituted of two phases (qualitative and quantitative research) and took place during a period of 4 months. During the first phase of the project I conducted over 20 in-depth interviews (in Russian) within 5 Russian federal districts and 5 market segments. Based on the knowledge gained, I submitted detailed reports and insights (in English), as well as helped other team members understand the key findings of the research.

I also contributed to the second phase of the study by performing a number of additional quantitative interviews. All of this led to improved market knowledge. The findings* of the market study helped the client assess the Russian market and make well-founded strategic marketing decisions.
